Quaint rooms, daily refreshed preparations, clean lounge
The stair access is cumbersome as there’s no lift!!! The location can be noisy at times and getting a foothold on poorly maintained steps can be a bit tricky too!!!

this place has a lovely character and was super clean. the location is great, realy easy to find and close to everything. loved that fresh milk was brought in daily for tea/coffee, much better than those little cartons. breakfast was fantastic, definitely set us up for a day of explore. the owner, arthur, was really friendly and made us feel at home!
the shower wasn't the best, temp kept changing sometimes, and the street noise was a bit annoying at night.

Comfortable stay with a cozy atmosphere.
The shower temperature fluctuated wildly, making it frustrating. I also faced a steep climb to the top floor, which made returning from town exhausting. the breakfast schedule was too early for our liking, forcing us to rush in the mornings.

This was just an excellent fit for a whistle-stop in Alnwick with good price value. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed without hovering too much, which I appreciated. Be careful on the steps outside when entering the town. they can be a bit tricky!

Cozy atmosphere with delightful breakfast options
I recently stayed for 2 nights in a Twin Room with Shower, and I can’t recommend this place enough! The breakfast was outstanding, served quickly and with a great variety, perfectly fueling us for our day of exploring. Arthur, the host, was exceptionally attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed while relaxing in the clean and charming environment. Although there was just a shower in our room, having access to a separate bathroom for a bath was a lovely touch after a long hike. Highly recommend visiting!

The shower in the Twin Room had inconsistent temperature control, which was a bit frustrating, and the Wi-Fi signal was weak on the top floor. Street noise was noticeable, though it didn't prevent us from relaxing. Breakfast was served a bit early for our liking, but the warm tropical fruits added a refreshing touch to the meal.
